We are looking for a new PR and outreach manager/strategist with two or more years of experience in a professional digital PR role to join our team to take our PR and outreach offering to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support in the execution of PR and outreach campaigns that generate a buzz for your clients
  • Lead on link building and media relations, performing outreach to journalists, bloggers, influencers and other media outlets
  • Come up with unique and creative PR and outreach ideas for a wide range of client strategies
  • Securing media coverage, both proactively and reactively
  • Network and build relationships with journalists, influencers and bloggers
  • Write a range of short and long-form content, from press releases, blog posts and news stories to infographics, reports, whitepapers and so on
  • Monitor progress of campaign activities, understanding and reporting on activities and how they help your clients, including analysing media coverage
  • Build effective client relationships and understand their wants and needs
  • Keep up to date with the current best practices for PR and outreach, as well as industry news and developments
  • Providing training to new starters, leading workshops and creating training materials

What We Are Looking For

  • Creativity - an ability to find and execute unique and interesting ways of telling a story or communicating information
  • Curiosity - an interest and understanding of PR and outreach and a desire to learn and try new things
  • Outreach skills - knowledge of how and when to pitch stories to journalists, influencers and other media outlets
  • Writing skills - excellent writing skills, knowledge of grammar, and an ability to adapt the tone of voice to suit different audiences
  • Knowledge - an understanding of the theory behind PR and outreach, SEO, social media, email marketing, and content marketing
  • Analytical - able to conduct thorough research around a variety of topics, including data analysis
  • Attention to detail - the desire to create the best possible work to the highest standard
  • Teamwork - work well within small and large teams to decide on the best possible digital marketing strategies
  • Initiative - able to manage your own workload and lead strategies from inception to completion
  • Communication - confident communication and presentation skills
  • Organisation - strong organisation and time management skills  

Desired Experience

  • Two or more years in a professional content marketing role
  • Understanding and experience of key PR and outreach tools, including Response Source, HARO and Pitchbox
  • Able to provide examples of PR and outreach worked on
