Digital marketing agency I-COM has launched a new PR service, becoming one of Manchester’s first fully integrated digital marketing agencies.

I-COM now offers traditional and online PR services alongside content marketing, search engine optimisation (SEO) and website development.

Mike Blackburn, Managing Director at the city centre-based agency, says: “The skills required for effective social media, digital outreach and content marketing are increasingly similar to those used in traditional PR and marketing.

“Agencies with the skills to bring together these key components of marketing strategy will ultimately have greater success in building brand awareness and revenues for their clients.”

I-COM has appointed a Head of PR, Fiona White, and is currently recruiting as to expand its team of over 40 specialists in line with a solid start to the financial year and recent client wins, including Aspire Financial Services, Lupton Fawcett and Outdoor World Direct.

Fiona has previously run successful PR campaigns across B2B and B2C sectors, specialising in recruitment and technology. “I-COM is one of the first agencies to offer a fully integrated approach to digital marketing and PR and I’m thrilled to be joining the business at such an exciting time for the company and its clients,” Fiona says.
