The Brief

Potter Rees Dolan is a law firm that specialises in providing legal services to clients who have suffered serious injuries. This can be in the form of anything from sports related injuries to accidents in the workplace.

They came to us to ask for help in improving their brand awareness and to improve the number of enquiries they receive from the web.

The Challenge

The Potter Rees Dolan site required SEO optimisation and brand building in search engines to improve visibility and traffic to the website in order to drive more high quality enquiries.

In addition to this the client wanted to improve their brand awareness and make the most of opportunities with their target audience.

We first made improvements to the website to improve the online presence. We refreshed the homepage and restructured the navigation to make it clearer and easier for users to navigate on the site.

Following this we focused on growing the brand awareness by executing several thought leader campaigns, including creating a guide to property purchase and adaptation following a serious injury and a video around Accessibility in Manchester, which secured coverage on BBC NorthWest Tonight and BBC Radio 1 amongst many local and disability publications, that would help to improve the profile of the brand.


As a result of these brand campaigns, the SEO and the UX optimisation activities we carried out on the website, Potter Rees Dolan has had a 115.71% increase in total enquiries as well as a 29.03% increase in unique visits.

This demonstrates that more relevant customers are finding their way to the site and a higher percentage of the traffic is making an enquiry than before.
