Third North-West College Appoints I-COM For Its Website Build
We are delighted to announce we have added Lancaster & Morecambe College to our expanding education portfolio following a three-way agency pitch.
The college will utilise I-COMs full spectrum of web design and development expertise, with the agency creating a completely new website that will be mobile responsive, SEO-friendly, and fully integrated with the colleges EBS student information system.
Following a competitive tender process against two other agencies, Lancaster & Morecambe were won over by I-COM's attention to detail in a pitch that demonstrated the company's in-depth understanding of the unique needs and requirements of the colleges website.
Lancaster & Morecambe College follows in the footsteps of Wigan & Leigh College and Hopwood Hall, which both received new websites from I-COMs creative team of developers in the past two years.
Mike Blackburn, managing director of I-COM, said: “We're delighted to have won the tender from Lancaster & Morecambe, our third college in as many years, which will help us to continue developing our expertise in providing great solutions for educational establishments.
“Our experience, creative designs and detailed understanding of the technical requirements of a college website made this a perfect match, and were looking forward to starting work on the new site for Lancaster & Morecambe College."
Valerie Osborne, marketing and student services manager, said: “During the pitch process, what stood out for us was how well I-COM listened to us and to the initial brief that we gave them, which translated into an outstanding level of detail in their pitch.
“Coupled with their specialist knowledge and client portfolio, awarding I-COM the tender was an incredibly easy decision for us to make - they knocked the other competition out of the water, and I look forward to developing a long-standing relationship with the team."
The win comes at an exciting time in I-COMs history, as the company begins its 15-year birthday celebrations with a major refurbishment and extension of its headquarters on 131 Portland Street in order to accommodate the companys future growth and development. From 25th March, the agency will be based for three months at 57 Spring Gardens, Mosley Street in the heart of Manchesters city centre. Find out more about the refurbishment and I-COM's history here.
