The Brief

Iconic Lights are lighting specialists, selling own-brand versions of designer classics. They engaged us to manage their web design and development and to support their internal marketing efforts. They asked us to help them improve the performance of their website and grow their revenue.

The Challenge

Iconic Lights has been developing an internal digital marketing team, but the team was lacking experience and required training and guidance. As they developed their own internal capabilities, we worked with Iconic Lights to determine where best to focus its resources and how best to utilise our skills in order to maximise efficiency and returns.

The Approach

We spent time helping to develop the Iconic Lights internal team through group and one-to-one training sessions on content, social media and paid advertising. We took on the technical work, fixing a number of SEO issues and advising Iconic Lights on ways to better merchandise their products in order to get better visibility and drive more transactions. We also helped Iconic Lights organise their marketing calendar more efficiently, planning in advance for promotions to maximise the impact.

The Results

As a result of the technical improvements and changes to the way in which products are listed, making them easier to find, transactions increased by over 40%. In addition the number of new users finding the site grew by over 26% and the number of mobile visitors increased by nearly 26%.
