We are looking for an SEO Manager to join the team and work with a portfolio of B2B and B2C clients across a range of industries.

About You

We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEO Manager to join our dynamic SEO & Content Marketing team.

The ideal candidate will probably have ~5 years of experience, in-house or at an agency, demonstrating a deep understanding of SEO and other channels that contribute to SEO, Digital PR & Paid Search. Bringing experience of AI SEO will be key to supporting I-COM's SEO & GEO proposition. Leadership experience is beneficial, but not critical.

Key Responsibilities

About the role

  • Create, develop, and deliver SEO strategies from the ground up or inherit those that align with client goals and drive measurable performance. Be clear about what success looks like and the metrics that matter. 
  • Act as the main SEO contact for your clients, presenting strategies, performance updates, clear, actionable insights, and how SEO fits into an integrated marketing strategy.  
  • Proactively present and communicate to key internal and external stakeholders, at all levels, supporting strategic direction and opportunities. Be comfortable with questions and build effective client relationships. 
  • Collaborate closely with other digital marketing specialisms (Content, PR, and Paid media) to align SEO with integrated campaign activity and share knowledge across disciplines.
  • Execution, optimisation excellence, and accountability across all forms of Organic Search for our clients.
  • Conduct in-depth technical audits and troubleshoot SEO issues across client websites. Ensure technical best practices are being followed and recommend improvements based on current SEO standards and algorithm updates
  • Develop and execute link-building strategies tailored to each client’s goals and industry. Identify relevant link opportunities through outreach, partnerships, and content marketing. Carry out hands-on link acquisition activity, including prospecting, pitching, and follow-ups
  • Lead the creation of detailed content roadmaps using advanced keyword research, competitor analysis, and SERP insights. Work closely with our content team to brief them on the execution of your content strategy. Work closely with the Digital PR team to support campaigns with on-site content designed to drive traffic and engagement.
  • Work with Content Strategists to deliver diversified content sprints - against the right objectives, including infographics and video. Understanding the impact of video and social on visibility in Search & LLMs is essential. 
  • Have an understanding of Paid search and how tactics and strategies impact SEO, and work with paid teams to develop strategies that take this into account. 
  • Be curious about client success in SEO, and be proactive in making suggestions that enable client SEO strategies to succeed. 
  • Support the Head of SEO and be a mentor and a leader within the SEO team.
