The Role

Working at I-COM you will:

  • Overseeing the SEO for a variety of businesses within different sectors - including legal, e-commerce and niche sectors
  • Assisting in/conducting on-site SEO/ technical audits
  • Carrying out backlink reviews
  • Keyword research & trend analysis
  • Assisting in the launch process of new websites
  • Analysing data in Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Making suggestions and carrying them out to improve website performance and user journey
  • Improving the UX of client’s sites
  • Working closely with content to guide them on what should be on client’s sites
  • Working closely with the other departments within I-COM to devise strategies that will drive organic traffic and revenue
  • Monitoring the impact that our SEO work has on our client’s sites
  • Reporting back findings to peers and clients
  • Keeping up to date with SEO industry trends and changes in Google’s algorithm


We're looking for a person who has:

  • 1  - 1.5 years
  • Experience of carrying out backlink reviews
  • Experience of conducting onsite / technical audits
  • Experience of 301 redirects
  • Able to carry out detailed keyword research and identify relevant terms
  • A whiz using spreadsheets
  • Experience of using Google Analytics and Search Console
  • Experience of using industry tools such as, Searchmetrics, Majestic, Moz, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager
  • Experience with a variety of platforms such as Magento2, Concrete, WordPress, Shopify, etc.
