Manchester digital agency I-COM is celebrating a triple win at the MPA Inspiration Awards, taking the titles for Digital Agency - Innovation, Digital Agency of the Year and Best in Class 2014.
I-COM impressed judges by demonstrating solid growth in its 10th year, recruiting new staff and creating innovative digital marketing campaigns for high-profile business across e-commerce, legal, IT and recruitment sectors.
The agency was joined by client King of Servers at the ceremony on Thursday 18th September, with judges commending the way the two businesses challenged the market to achieve measurable results, earning the Digital Agency - Innovation accolade.
Managing director of I-COM, Mike Blackburn, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won all three awards, including Best in Class, which was a real honour given the level of talent across all other categories.
“I’m incredibly proud of the whole team, who are constantly striving to create forward-thinking campaigns that speak to our clients’ audiences and bring them real, tangible results. It’s exciting to be entering a new era as the business continues to grow and marks its 10th year in 2014.”
The award comes on the back of significant new client wins from across the North of England including Mintons Solicitors in Leeds, Technical Absorbents based in Grimsby and The Greyhound Racing Association in Manchester.
In celebration of its successes on the night, I-COM took the Ice Bucket Challenge during the ceremony at Gorton Monastery, Manchester. Mike was joined by David Walsh, head of development at I-COM, as the duo were drenched in freezing water in aid of the charitable cause, just moments before heading on stage to collect the Best in Class award.
