Manchester digital marketing agency, I-COM, has added three new clients to its growing portfolio in the first quarter of 2017, securing retained marketing contracts with Lanes Group Plc and menswear brand Marc Darcy, in addition to marketing project work for Trustcare a division of housing association Trafford Housing Trust.

The UK’s largest independent drainage contractor, Lanes Group Plc, appointed I-COM to handle all elements of its digital marketing.

I-COM pitched against three other agencies, including the incumbent supplier to Lanes Group Plc, and impressed with its creative strategies and recent work to raise brand awareness and enhance the online presence of the associated company, UKDN Waterflow (LG) Ltd.

Trafford Housing Trust selected I-COM to develop a digital marketing and social media strategy for the body’s TrustCare service which will target new customers in the Greater Manchester area.

British Heritage menswear brand Mark Darcy chose the Manchester agency to handle its ongoing digital marketing activities and improve online user experience, based on I-COM’s proven experience in running blogger outreach, SEO and brand awareness strategies in the e-commerce industry.

Mike Blackburn, managing director of I-COM, says: “We have started 2017 as we mean to go on, securing three high-profile retained clients and implementing our successful digital marketing strategies across a selection of niche sectors.

“While the industries are all very different, our new clients share a common trust in our ability to deliver creative, innovative strategies which take complex subjects and translate these messages to the intended audience. It is an exciting time for I-COM as we continue to grow our reputation as one of Manchester’s first full-service digital marketing agencies.”

Michelle Ringland, head of marketing at Lanes Group Plc, says: “I-COM prepared well for their SEO pitch and fully understood the requirements of the brief. Having worked with them with the UKDN Waterflow (LG) Ltd brand we know that the team are committed. We are excited about the forthcoming Lanes project and look forward to working with them.”
