Manchester digital marketing agency I-COM and specialist IT hardware vendor King of Servers have been crowned victorious at the Online Retail Awards, winning the computers, telecommunications and electricals category.
Judges were impressed by the partnership between the two companies, with I-COM delivering a full-service web development and marketing campaign for King of Servers, which drove significant growth for the business.
Other impressive results from the campaign included an increase in live chats by 87%, fulfilling a key objective to provide an improved customer service for King of Servers.
The award win comes as I-COM has been shortlisted for a number of industry accolades, including three categories at the MPA Awards and one at the Manchester Young Talent Awards.
Mike Blackburn, managing director at I-COM, said: “We are extremely proud to have won the Online Retail Awards title, especially in partnership with King of Servers, who are one of our most longstanding clients.
“We have worked with King of Servers since they first began and it has been a true pleasure to be part of this innovative brand’s growth. Winning awards like this brings a real boost to the team and I am sure that we will continue to build on this success in the months and years ahead.”
Albie Attias, managing director of King of Servers, says: “We knew we’d achieved great things during the past 12 months and the business is currently performing at a record level, despite the challenging economy we all face. But it is even more rewarding to gain outside recognition of this success, particularly as we are still a relatively small player competing against some of the industry’s biggest names”.
