Client Services Manager

What Do You Love About Your Job?

As a client services manager, I have my own portfolio of clients, and they’re quite a unique bunch at that! It’s exciting to have such diverse industries to work with, from clients in the science tech industry to serious injury solicitors to a portable accommodation company who have supplied Glastonbury Festival and catered for Her Majesty’s 90th birthday celebration. Because of this, my day to day is varied and allows me to expand my horizons.

The thing I enjoy the most is building my relationship with our clients. In particular, it feels great to work with like-minded, motivated people and knowing that we are all working as a team to get the results we want. I’m very grateful to have clients that have been with I-COM for many years and who I thoroughly enjoy working with.

What Were You Doing Before I-COM?

I’ve been working in the marketing industry since 2013. Before I-COM, I worked in the fashion industry as a B2C and B2B marketing manager on the client-side, and before that role I worked at a digital marketing agency.

There are benefits to working on the client-side and in an agency, but what I do love about working at an agency is the different industries you get to work in and how much you actually learn on the job - things that I would otherwise may never have discovered.

Life Outside of I-COM

I am a foodie through and through and love dining out at restaurants (in particular seafood restaurants) but I also love to cook at home. My main goal outside of work is to travel to as many places in the world as possible in order to experience different cultures and try new things.

When at home in Manchester, I enjoy socialising with family and friends in bars and dining out. I also love watching films of all genres - with a particular fondness for a good horror, though they are harder to come by these days.

Usually, I have some kind of house project on the go - most recently we’ve renovated the garage and my husband and I are now in the process of redesigning our kitchen.

As I grew up watching many David Attenborough documentaries with my family, I’m a strong supporter of the conservation of endangered animals - I love all wildlife, with a special soft spot for hedgehogs.
