What's the day job?
With a background in PR, my role at I-COM is to help build the profile of the brands that we work with and get them featured in the publications that matter to their audience.
Working across a range of sectors - everything from FMCG to recruitment - each client requires something different and challenges me to think in a new way. The best part of my role is that it lets me work really closely with brands to shout about the brilliant work they do.
Before joining I-COM, I spent almost three years working at a Manchester PR agency. Whilst there I worked on a wide range of B2B and B2C accounts, including restaurants, theme parks and utility providers.
What makes you unique?
Outside of work you’ll almost always find me in the kitchen. I’m passionate about cooking, eating and reading about food - I’m currently spending a lot of time trying to master new cuisines and source ingredients they don’t sell in Lidl.
It might not be a specialist skill (or win me many friends) but I’ve never seen or read Harry Potter.
