What’s the Day Job?
My role as a brand marketing strategist is to come up with unique and creative marketing campaigns that really get our clients noticed. This means I can be writing really in-depth pieces of content one moment, liaising with journalists to get a story featured in the press in another moment, and then working with our designers to create something visual and eye-catching.
Chuck into the mix an abundance of brands from various sectors like legal, recruitment, financial, retail and science and no two days are the same at I-COM - and that’s just how I like it.
Life Before I-COM
After almost a decade working in retail, I’d had enough and returned to university to study a degree in English Language and Creative Writing. After graduating with a first-class honours degree, I was taken on by I-COM and haven’t looked back since.
When I’m Not at Work
You’ll normally find me chilling with my cat Archie, cooking up a storm in the kitchen or amongst friends. I’m also a bit of a nerd for film, TV and video games - who says you can’t still play Pokémon in your 30s.
I’ve also built up a bit of a reputation over the years at I-COM as being one of the last ones standing on a night out. So a tipple or two always goes down a treat for me!
