Paid Media Executive

What’s the day job? 

I oversee our Paid media advertising, managing strategy, budgets and delivering high-performing campaigns across a multitude of channels, the main ones being Google Ads and Meta Ads. I also work closely with our other internal departments, including the SEO, Content and Client Services teams to achieve campaign goals. 

How many years of professional experience do you have? 

I started working in digital marketing in 2022, and I have held different positions within agency and in-house marketing teams, working across predominantly Paid Media to other broad roles covering Social Media, Web Content, SEO, Email and Brand marketing. The sectors I have covered include Higher Education, Recruitment, Non-Profits, Medical tech, Property development, and E-commerce. 

What are your areas of expertise or specialised knowledge? 

I have a few different areas of expertise, especially covering Google Ads, Analytics, and Meta Ads. I also have some experience with other channel platforms such as MailChimp for Email, WordPress and Squarespace for website content, SEMRush and Looker Studio for analytics, and HubSpot for CRM.

Do you have any certifications or additional training related to your field? 

I am Google certified & I am in the process of completing certifications for Meta, LinkedIn, & TikTok. I also hold a Digital Marketing certificate from Google Digital Garage, and I am in the process of completing a CIM Level 6 Diploma in Professional & Digital Marketing.    

What are your interests or hobbies outside of work? 

I like playing sports such as football, badminton, and korfball (ask me for more details haha). I am a Manchester United fan as well, although watching them lately can be stressful at times.  I also like cooking, going to the gym, listening to a wide range of music, gaming, stand-up comedy, TV series and movies, and traveling whenever I can.

  • Favourite Film: tough to choose, but I would say Pulp Fiction or The Dark Knight
  • Favourite Song: also quite tricky to pick one, but probably Without Me by Eminem
  • Favourite Quote / Phrase / Saying: I am chronically online so I love quoting old Vines or TikToks/memes, along with some Borat catchphrases 😄
