E-Commerce

Working with I-COM has been an absolute joy! They designed and developed an interactive and engaging website to reflect the new Iconic Lights brand, along with an integrated digital campaign enabling us to be at the forefront of e-commerce innovation.

Since the site launch in September 2013 our profits have doubled and continue to do so month on month.

What we achieved

The new Iconic Lights site is modern and sleek, and better represents their ethos of providing high quality, stylish lighting at affordable prices. An uncomplicated website, and complete marketing strategy, benefits from an increase in traffic and turns browsers into buyers.

Iconic Lights - thanks to a new and improved website, and a comprehensive marketing and SEO strategy - is now enjoying:

- 49% increase in revenue in the first month since re-launch
- 29% increase in returning customers’ spend from £3,450.54 to £4,884.20
- over £10k in sales from a PPC spend of only £400

This shows the re-design has helped cement a stronger brand and encouraged loyalty among consumers.

How we did it

Iconic Lights required a new, minimal and simple website to match its re-brand and re-defined values. Since 2003, the company has enjoyed continued success and felt it was time for a new online presence to match their growing stake in the market. To increase the impact of its re-design, it was essential that a comprehensive marketing plan was also put into place to deliver better traffic, conversions and revenue.

The new website offers users an easy-to-navigate website, with smooth, drop-down menus and a user-friendly interface to allow all browsers to find what they need. The simple and functional CMS allows the in-house team to easily update, edit and add content as and when required - vital for keeping consumers up to date. A fully comprehensive marketing strategy, entailing SEO, PPC and content marketing, leverages the brand. This puts it in front of the right type of customers, gaining a higher volume of traffic and creating a positive brand for its customers. including:

  • A systematic approach to PPC means traffic is better concentrated, delivering higher conversion figures and lower bounce rates.
  • Improved functionality, making it easier for users to browse and purchase.
  • A simple CMS, creating an easy-to-use system for updating content and products.
  • A comprehensive marketing strategy, resulting in a 60% increase in orders in the first month alone.
