An imaginative and compelling ‘brochure’ website for established Manchester fashion brand, Barneys. An online profile which allowed the brand to promote its three ranges: Barneys Originals, Barneys Black and Barneys Vintage, for the first time. A drastic increase in online visibility and exciting new features, such as the Barneys Look Book.
Our work with Barneys is an excellent example of a fashion brand reconciling the need for an exciting, beautiful brochure website with the requirement that it be search-friendly and appear in search results for a variety of brand terms.
I-COM’s design and development team worked closely with Barneys to produce a site which accurately reflected the brand’s Mancunian heritage, was capable of showcasing the three sub-brands in an innovative way, and was suitably search friendly to ensure the site appeared in relevant search engine results pages.
Our project management team facilitated the working relationship, staying on top of the site’s development and ensuring every stage of the process ran smoothly and was completed to tight deadlines.
Barneys traces its roots back to 1911, when founder Barney Rosemarine first began trading in fine fabrics. Since then Barneys has gone on to specialise in designing leather clothing, billing itself as a rock‘n’roll inspired label with expertly crafted vintage and modern designs.
