I-COM continues to flourish, with three new recruits so far this year.
The Manchester-based digital agency, established in 2004, is now in its tenth year and has a strong team of 40 plus, making it one of the city's leading digital agencies.
New recruits this year include SEO Consultant- Simon Belfield, Digital Project Manager - Mark Webster and Web Designer - Phil Gwilliam. I-COM is also looking for a new Client Services Manager to join us in the next couple of months.
Mark, who joined in early February, said: "Having worked in the industry for seven years, it’s refreshing to be part of a company that not only produces great work for its clients, but has a vibrant and welcoming culture."
I-COM has also taken on four Agency Life students for two days a week, providing them with industry experience and a real life look into how agencies work. Check out their recent blogs here: www.i-com.net/salt-on-everything
Mike Blackburn, Managing Director of I-COM, who joined the company seven years ago, said:
"I-COM is very excited to be recruiting so early in the year and with the expertise of the new people we’re certain they'll thrive in our busy environment. The Agency Life students are also great to have in the team, bringing a youthful feel and exciting new ideas."
I-COM also prides itself on having a 50/50 ratio of men and women, bucking the industry trend. Four of the successful females also form part of the management team, including Mindy Gofton, who heads up the whole of Digital.
Mindy joined six years ago, when it was less common for women to work in this environment. She said: "It is a real plus point that there are as many women as men at I-COM. It means there is a good scene outside as well as inside work."
Mike added: "It's great to have a mix of men and women and also a mix of ages. We believe this enhances creativity and is the key to the success of I-COM."
