I-COM’s Web Clinic Success: Local Business Managers Praise I-COM’s Expertise

Full-service online marketing firm I-COM's first Web Clinic has been acclaimed by attendees. Feedback received at the end of the event showed that everyone who attended was impressed at the expert advice on offer.

Representatives from numerous local businesses were present at JMW's offices in Spinningfields, where they were joined by a panel of I-COM employees specialising in everything from search engine optimisation (SEO) and web design to web development and online PR.

The panel and audience discussed a selection of the firms' websites, offering guidance on how to improve their design, usability, content, conversion rates, rankings in search engine results pages and more, in an easy-to-understand manner.

In the afternoon, one-on-one sessions were arranged for those who wanted to talk in more detail about their specific website and online presence.

Sara Baines of Appleyard Lees said of the function: "[It was a] great informal format - I learnt more here today than I have over the last few years! Very knowledgeable panel."

She added that the information provided by I-COM was "superb, clear and constructive".

More praise was offered by Cath Murphy from Hatters Promotional Merchandise, who stated: "I found the day informative and interesting. I think I-COM were generous with their comments and insight and avoided the hard sell."

Following the event, Simon Swan from Hiring-Hub.com took the time to tweet the @I_COM account with: "Really useful morning, thanks. [I] would definitely recommend it to others if you hold a similar event in the future."

Commenting on the success of the event, Tim Roberts, managing director at I-COM said: "We're really pleased with how the day went and the reaction our advice got from those in attendance.

"These are local companies who want to do all they can to grow their business and we're delighted they think our expertise could help them achieve their ambitions."

"We know there is significant demand for our services and those considering making use of them should remember they don't need to wait for another Web Clinic to request our advice. They can simply send us an email or give us a call and arrange a meeting."
