I-COM win SEO contract with Health & Home Shopping®

I-COM SEO today announced they have won a Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) contract with Salford based catalogue retailer HHS Trading Ltd, for the Health & Home Shopping® website.

The HHS business has traditionally centred around press advertising and direct catalogue mailing. The company wants to widen its client base to access a new set of customers who can take advantage of its value for money products.

HHS have already got an e-commerce operation but at the moment it is not fulfilling its potential. The trial with I-COM will focus around two discrete activities.

Firstly I-COM will implement search engine optimisation (SEO) techniques to the existing site to drive increased traffic and sales.

Secondly a new sister site with SEO at its heart and improved design will be developed to run alongside the original.

Both sites will then be marketed on an on-going basis using both search engine optimisation and pay-per-click advertising.

The trial will aim to enable a rational decision to be made about the main website re-development in 2007.
