Google rel=canonical tag allows you to specify one URL

Google Webmaster Central put up a post yesterday announcing the launch of rel=canonical. If you have multiple versions of the same page due to session ID's, query strings or any other issue, you can now add a tag in the saying .

This is great news for SEO consultants as it will save us time and effort.
