James Roome, SEO Copywriter & Social Media Consultant

As a SEO Copywriter & Social Media Consultant, James's days are pretty full switching frantically between Microsoft Word, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and forums, all the while fending off rabid members of the management team (Mike).

After completing a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing at Lancaster University James got himself a job working for a relatively well known Lancaster-based online directory, (in)famous for its RapidSite deal. He then moved to I-COM, because in his words "the commute from Manchester to Lancaster was a joyless experience."

James started out as an SEO copywriter in the Search department, and has now been tasked with developing I-COM's social media offering.

James has dabbled with a variety of creative pursuits over the years, acting for stage and screen, filming comedy sketches with his friends, performing as a solo musician and writing poetry and stories - unfortunately (for him and the audience), none of it was any good.
